According to a note from the Provincial Government of Uíge, which VerAngola had access to, the current edition has the motto "Uíge – 106 Years of Hands in Hand for Development".
"Under the motto: 'Uíge – 106 Years of Hands in Hand for Development', Praça da Independência was the place chosen to host the ceremony guided by the deputy governor for the Political, Social and Economic sector, Sónia Arlete Fernandes Domingos, who represented the provincial governor, José Carvalho da Rocha", reads the statement.
On the occasion, the official took the opportunity to call the attention of investors "to take advantage of local potential", to invest in various sectors, especially agriculture, adds the note.
For the vice-governor, this "showcase is one of the most important marketing platforms in the north of the country, for the promotion of products and services, which helps to expand the client portfolio" and, thus, expand the volume of business, as which brings together businessmen, entrepreneurs, public and private companies, associations, as well as representatives of the 16 municipalities.
The official also referred that over these days, those present will have "the opportunity to present the potential in the various fields".
Thus, she said she hopes that "everyone gets good results in this edition".
According to a communiqué from the provincial government, for this edition, "the expected turnover is estimated at more than 170 million kwanzas, thus surpassing the previous achievement, which reached 150 million kwanzas".
