Congolese doctors exchange experiences with doctors from Cabinda and praise the quality of treatment in the province

A delegation of doctors from Ponta-Negra, in the Republic of Congo, visited several health units in Cabinda, praising the “quality of health care” in the province.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, which VerAngola had access to, the Congolese delegation was made up of 11 specialist doctors who, last Friday, visited several public and private health units in Cabinda, "confirming the evolution of the health sector" in that province.

Among the units visited are the Provincial Hospital of Cabinda, the General Hospital of Cabinda, among others. "Complying with a three-day program (20 to 22/07), within the scope of the exchange and exchange of experiences, the entourage of 11 specialist doctors from Ponta-Negra visited the Provincial Hospital of Cabinda, the Dispensary, the Maternidade do 1.º de Maio, the Hemodialysis Centre, the Hospital 28 de Agosto, the General Hospital of Cabinda, Clinics of Malongo and Sagrada Esperança", reads the note.

On the occasion, Mountou Joseph, head of the delegation of the Republic of Congo, praised the "quality of health care in Cabinda, from a technical and material point of view and expressed the desire to increase the partnership with the province of Cabinda".

Rúben Buco, provincial secretary of Health, also mentioned in the communiqué, clarified that the visit to the hospital infrastructures, "allowed to show the existing evolution in the local public and private networks".
