According to the official, the stock exchange ended June with a traded amount of around 394 billion kwanzas, corresponding to the highest amount reached in a month since the start of this year, writes Angop.

In half-yearly terms, Cristina Lourenço informed that a total value of 1.08 billion kwanzas was traded, reflecting an average per month of 180 billion kwanzas.

The executive director of Bodiva also referred that the monthly trend of negotiations for the present year is assumed to be growing due to the intervention of the BNA to place negotiations of treasury bonds in foreign money on the exchange, as well as the dynamics that the market has achieved, writes Angop.

There are good expectations for trading on the stock exchange, said the official, taking into account treasury bills, BAI shares – which are still being traded on the market –, as well as the sale of shares in the state-owned oil company Sonangol on the stock exchange.

Thus, Cristina Lourenço expressed confidence that the prospects will continue "to be positive".

"So, we are confident that the prospects will continue to be positive," she said, quoted by Angop.

On the occasion, she also mentioned the fact that Bodiva was present at Filda. Taking part in the event for the first time, the administrator says that they want to present the exchange's services, among others.
