Maritime trips between Luanda and Cabinda start on Friday

The catamarans will start connecting Luanda and Cabinda this week, with the first passenger sea voyage taking place this Friday (29 July), at 7:30 am at the Passenger Terminal of the Port of Luanda.

According to a document from the board of directors of Secil Marítima, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), each trip will last about 10 hours and cost 30 thousand kwanzas, with the right to 40 kilos of cargo and two meals.

The company also informs that there will be one trip per day, twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays - with the route Luanda-Cabinda, Cabinda-Soyo and Soyo-Luanda.

According to the document, cited by RNA, to carry out the trips, the company assumes using two vessels (one for passengers and one for non-containerized cargo).

Tickets can be purchased at the local sales points at the Luanda, Soyo and Cabinda terminals.
