According to figures released Monday by national health authorities and cited by Angop, a total of 1,551,812 people have already been vaccinated against covid-19.
Of the more than one million five hundred thousand citizens vaccinated, 957,760 have already been immunized with the first dose and 594,112 with the second, writes Angop.
In order to carry out the vaccination plan, 175 posts have been established, of which 45 are high performance posts, and there are 130 teams.
According to the plan, the government estimates to immunize about 54 percent of the population, which corresponds to 16,823,284 people over 16 years old.
