The competition had been open on 9 February and ran until the submission of applications which ended on 3 July.
The objective is to hire three independent rough diamond appraisers, who will intervene in the classification, assessment and determination of base sales prices in the national market.
Last year, Angola raised US $ 1.3 billion from the sale of 9.2 million carats of diamonds, the result of the new marketing policy adopted in 2018 by the Government, which abdicated preferential customers in favor of auctions.
