Under the new timetable, proposals from bidders may be received by 21 May, with analysis and evaluation taking place by 2 June 2020
The results will be disseminated on 16 June and the independent evaluators are expected to start their activities on 20 July.
The evaluators will be involved in the classification, evaluation and determination of the basic selling prices on the national market.
The sales price list, prepared with the support of the independent valuer, will be submitted by the Sociedade de Comercialização de Diamantes de Angola (SODIAM) to the Government for evaluation.
Last year Angola raised 1.3 billion dollars with the production of 9.2 million carats of diamonds.
