Thus, from that date onwards, candidates will be able to check their results online, on the INE platform, by entering their name or ticket number, writes Angop.
Once the selection process is complete, the chosen candidates will receive training, in order to learn the techniques and procedures related to data collection, said Hernani Luís, spokesperson for the Multisectoral Commission to Support the Conduct of the 2024 Census, in statements after a committee meeting.
On the occasion, the person in charge said they had "100 percent" conditions to carry out the census, also guaranteeing that the logistical mechanisms and components necessary to prepare the process are available and ready, writes Angop.
"With 35 days to go before the start of the population and housing census, this meeting evaluated the completed tasks and concluded that the tasks defined in the previous meeting were fully fulfilled and with that we have 100 percent conditions for the 19th of July", said the person in charge.
Among other aspects, he said that 180 IT technicians will begin receiving technical training in IT, starting in the last two weeks of June, in the province of Benguela, and the IT technicians will provide technical support on a provincial basis and, subsequently, the same procedure will be implemented in the province of Huíla.
According to Angop, as the 2024 census will be completely digital, 1750 IT professionals will receive training to provide support to municipalities and communes.
Remember that last month, INE opened a process to recruit a total of 79,423 field agents – of which 67,131 census agents and 12,292 for supervision – to carry out the 2024 Census, which starts on July 19th.
The process took place from the 22nd to the 27th of May, with more than 200 thousand people applying for the vacancies that were open.
