Mara Quiosa competed in the category of best provincial governor of 2022 – a novelty in this 10th edition of the Palanca Negra Prize – with the governors of Zaire and Benguela, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho and Luís Nunes, respectively. It should be noted that the current governor of Cabinda has already held positions such as governor of Bengo, deputy for the parliamentary bench of the MPLA, among others.
Among the winners, TPA also stood out, winning the award in five categories: best TV news presenter, best TV news producer, best TV information correspondent, best journalist in local languages and best news producer on TV of the year.
Still in the field of communication, according to TPA, the categories of best TV debate moderator, best entertainment presenter of the year 2022 and best radio news presenter of the year 2022 were won by Amílcar Xavier, Dina Simão and Isaías Afonso, respectively.
Also noteworthy, according to TPA, is César Esteves, who won the revelation journalist of the year award.
The list of winners also includes the Cardiopulmonary Hospital Complex Cardial Dom Alexandre do Nascimento (winner of the category of best hospital of the year), the Civil Protection and Fire Service (best body of the Ministry of the Interior), SINPROF (best union), TCUL (best urban road transport operator), among others.
It should be noted that in this year's edition, the Palanca Negra Gigante Award paid a posthumous tribute to three personalities: Mfulupinga Nlando Victor, Mário Pinto de Andrade and Almerindo Jaka Jamba.
