Puma opens first store in Angola

Puma arrived in Angola, having opened, this Tuesday, its first store in the country. However, the international brand will not stop here, planning to open another store in Luanda in the next two weeks.

Located at Belas Shopping, in Talatona, the store was opened by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto.

Despite being the first Puma store – which belongs to the company Visuro, an Angolan company that is part of the Ango Rayan group – in the country, the company intends to expand.

In the next two weeks, the company plans to open another store in the capital.

According to Platinaline, the Ango Rayan group, after making several investments in the field of industry and commerce, decided to bet on Puma, considering that education through sport is crucial for the development of a country.

On the occasion, Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto said that she wants to see the athletes of the national teams wear this brand and added that the entity that manages the national sport is looking for an official supplier, having thus established contact with the brand, writes Angop.

After a meeting between the tutelage and the Puma representative, contacts were made for a possible sponsorship, said the minister, adding that there are guidelines that must be obeyed and that the next step will take place between the federations and the brand.

"As a minister, we have to look for partners to boost national sport, and the more brands we have in the country, the better, because Angola is creating ideal conditions for attracting large investors," she said, quoted by Angop.
