Angola's maritime potential on display in Portugal

The maritime potential of the country will be highlighted in Portugal. It will be at a stand, within the scope of the Ocean Conference, which will take place from June 27th to July 1st in Lisbon, that the country will have the opportunity to show its potential.


"Angola will show its oceanic potential, the importance of the oceans, the blue and circular economy", said Carolina Cerqueira, Minister of State for the Social Area.

Demonstrating that the sea has riches, as well as contributing to employment and cooperation between populations, is the objective, informed the minister, quoted by Angop.

"The intention is to show that the oceans guarantee wealth, employment, sustainability and, in a modern way, contribute to cooperation, mutualism and solidarity between peoples, as they do not distance populations and economies, but allow collaboration between all. for world friendship", he said, quoted by Angop.

The event focuses on action for the oceans and will aim to encourage leaders and decision makers to increase investment at the scientific level to find answers that help to bridge the health slope of the seas.
