According to data revealed in the newsletter of the General Tax Administration (AGT) this month, cited by Jornal de Angola, in March 1973 parcels from inside and outside the country entered the central office, while in the same period a total of 991 parcels were registered.
All in all, in March this year 982 more goods were registered than in March 2020.
According to the Jornal de Angola, the selection of packages is made by the Post Office, AGT and the Fiscal Police.
Once a sorting is done, the process of separation of goods begins. The orders that are not subject to taxable value become the responsibility of the Angolan Post Office, which delivers them.
Orders that are subject to taxation are delivered in the presence of importers, after an assessment of what is taxable.
