The measure is part of the Simplification of Public Administration Acts and Procedures Project - Simplifies 1.0 - presented this Wednesday at the National School of Administration and Public Policies, in Luanda.
The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Francisco Queiroz, said that the existing technical capacity to unify identity card data and birth registration data in a single database is being improved.
In addition to this advance, Francisco Queiroz also said that there is also the purpose of speeding up the process of issuing and delivering the document. "Despite the great efforts that have already been made, we need to make the identity card come out faster," said the minister in a statement that VerAngola had access to.
The Secretary of State for Territory Administration, Márcio Daniel, said that 'Simplifies 1.0' represents an opportunity for municipal administrations to become the main center for providing public services par excellence.
"We believe that the work starts now. The work of 'Simplifies', which today has its public presentation, passes the ball to the State administration, central and local, so that they can now respond to the challenge that is being launched" , he pointed out.
In turn, the Minister of Education, Luísa Grilo, considered the project a gain for students, as it will facilitate the entire process, from entry to completion of studies at different levels of education.
"I believe it will make life much easier for students throughout the education system, because we know that over time there are difficulties for students to access higher education because of the limited time between issuing the certificate and enrolling," he said.
For the judge counselor of the Constitutional Court, Carlos Teixeira, the simplification of administrative acts and procedures will improve the functioning of the courts.
"There will naturally be an influence of this ambitious project in the courts. Because in addition to the specific processes of the courts, there is also a set of materially administrative functions, which are developed in the courts and which will have to accompany this great challenge", he stressed.
Project 'Simplifica 1.0', corresponding to the year 2021, considered the simplification of 32 acts and administrative procedures to obtain, in addition to the identity card, driving license, passport, licenses, among other documents.
With the implementation of the project, the Executive intends to make the public administration more efficient, effective, less bureaucratic and modern, in order to make life easier for citizens and companies.
