There are more than 713,000 identity cards pending in Angola

Across the country, a total of 713,620 ID cards are abandoned at the Civil and Criminal Identification Services, waiting for their owners to carry out the survey, according to a note from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.

According to the note broadcast this Tuesday and to which VerAngola had access, the largest number of identity cards issued and yet to be collected are in Luanda province, with a total of 244,765, followed by Huíla with 64,105, Benguela with 55,865 and Huambo with 46,383.

"In the province of Lunda Norte, 29,383 identity cards are about to be raised, Cuanza Sul with 28,475, Bié with 26,739, Uíge with 24,867, Moxico with 24,604, Malanje with 24,267 and Bengo with 23,541", the note says.

In turn, in the province of Cabinda there are 22,987 ID tickets to be collected, in Cunene 21,994, Cuando Cubango with 20,463, Lunda Sul with 18,958, Zaire with 6,675, Cuanza Norte with 9,996 and Namibe also with 9,553.
