"We are currently expanding the company to Luanda, with the purchase of a factory in the EEZ where we will set up a wood derivatives, carpentry and furniture industry," Vítor Cunha, commercial director of Emadel, told the newspaper Mercado.
The factory should start up by the end of the year and, according to the manager, should create about 200 new jobs: "The industry will employ about 200 workers and we hope to start operating at the end of this year.
Emadel currently has two showrooms, one in Luanda and another in Lubango, but according to Vítor Cunha the company plans to open two more in different areas of the capital.
The company was founded in 1999 in Huila, operates in the wood sector and currently employs around 194 people.
