Nine provinces reported the 70 new cases, leading the list Luanda (41), followed by Cabinda (nine), Huambo (seven), Zaire (five), Bié (two), Cunene (two), Malanje (two), Benguela (one) and Huila (one), being 42 males and 28 females, aged between 7 months and 69 years.
According to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, there were three male deaths and six female deaths, in Huambo (four), Luanda (two), and one each in Cuando Cubango, Huila and Cabinda, aged between 4 months and 68 years.
The recoveries of the disease were reported 69 in Luanda, 14 in Huambo, seven in Benguela, seven in Huila, six in Bié, two in Malanje and one in Cuando Cubango.
Angola thus registers a total of 37,748 positive cases, 868 deaths, and 31,782 recovered from the disease.
For now, the country has a total of 5143 active cases, of which 18 in critical condition, 26 serious, 41 moderate 26 light and 4987 asymptomatic, with 117 people hospitalized, 86 in institutional quarantine, and under epidemiological surveillance 2323 contacts.
In terms of testing, laboratories processed, in the period under review, 1352 samples by RT-PCR, pointing the cumulative now to 628,621 samples processed, with a positivity rate of 6 percent.
