The change comes after about 60 people, who are in the Calumbo Quarantine Center, threatened to receive the president in the form of a protest.
The 60 citizens are angry that the health authorities will not inform them of the results of their tests and when they will be discharged. They also complain about the lack of hygiene conditions.
In statements to the same newspaper, a resident of Futungo - where a health fence was set up - criticised the actions of the health authorities, stressing that they are hiding information about the covid-19 tests.
People who are admitted to the center are "more at risk inside the center than outside because there are no conditions to keep the patients," he said.
Another young man, who preferred not to be identified, also complained of the lack of conditions, indicating that patients have been sharing objects: "We share everything, we've been without masks for 48 hours, there's no hygiene, there's no security, we're always behind doctors to discharge us. Right now we feel angry and we want to leave because this place does not offer us any security".
Another of the centre's patients points the finger at the government, saying that the executive will keep them "just to make up the numbers and justify the amounts spent".
