"In this month of the child, the Paediatric Hospital of Luanda will gain a new unit with an emergency bank, internment and ICU," added the head of state, not advancing with more details or date of inauguration of the unit.
Still in the same publication, João Lourenço congratulated all the professionals who are fighting covid-19 in the country: "in this fight against covid-19, I praise the sacrifice of professionals in the health sector, law enforcement, journalists and crews of the TAAG Boeing 777, who spare no effort to minimize the probability of expansion of the virus.
The Paediatric Hospital in Luanda serves about 400 children a day.
