According to Angop, the announcement of the start of the CIAE in July was announced by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Marcy Lopes, who visited, last Friday, the CIAE – assigned to the Angola-China Chamber of Commerce (CAC), located in Camama, municipality of Talatona, and whose objective is to improve the business environment, "maintaining companies already established in the country" and encouraging "Chinese businesspeople to bring new investments to Angola".

According to a statement from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, to which VerAngola had access, at the time, Marcy Lopes said that the visit follows a working meeting between the chamber's management and the ministry, in which "it was agreed the installation of justice services close to the CAC".

The holder of the Justice and Human Rights portfolio also said that, from now on, the ministry's teams "will work towards the immediate installation of a notary's office, an extension of the company's single window, an extra conflict resolution center court and a land registry office", aiming to "meet the volume of investment by Chinese businesspeople in Angola, thus contributing to a better business environment".

In turn, the president of the CAC, Luís Cupenala, "thanked the readiness of the ministry's management to facilitate the installation of justice services at CIAE", as well as highlighting "the creation of the extrajudicial conflict resolution center", as , according to the person responsible, the chamber "has received several cases of conflicts that can be resolved quickly and efficiently through this center", points out the note from the guardianship.

Already mentioned in a CAC node, to which VerAngola had access, Luís Cupenala also mentioned that the idea of creating the CIAE, essentially aims to "remove bureaucracy from services, bring it closer to businesspeople and national citizens, as well as such as service excellence, in order to attract more private investment to Angola".

He also considered that integrating VFS Global services in the future will be advantageous, as it will offer a set of services that will make visa applications simpler and faster for Angolans who wish to travel to China, writes Angop.
