The official - who did not specify whether the training center will be in Luanda or in another province - said that the idea of creating spaces for the training of young basketball players on the African continent came from Angola, during the Champions League that took place at the Pavilion from Kilmaba. However, the first academy was eventually implemented in Senegal.
However, NBA Academy Africa officials expressed interest in Angola's participation in the project. This project that the Government should support.
Speaking of the state of the sport in the country, the official stated that more support was needed, especially in the provinces, as well as sponsorship.
