CNE launches contest to recruit more than 6000 electoral civic education agents for the elections

The National Electoral Commission (CNE) launched a public contest to recruit and choose more than 6000 electoral civic education agents for the general elections. In addition, the commission also opened two other public tenders for the admission of national trainers and provincial trainers.

"The National Electoral Commission informs the general public that the public tender for the recruitment and selection of 6020 electoral civic education agents for the 2022 general elections is open", can be read in a publication made available on the CNE website.

According to the CNE, the list of vacancies is led by Luanda, with 1008, followed by Huíla, with 528.

Those interested in participating in the recruitment and selection contest for education agents must fulfill certain criteria, namely being Angolan citizens with active electoral capacity, that is, being over 18 years old and having completed the electoral registration.

Possessing minimum educational qualifications of the 8th class completed in rural municipalities and the 12th class completed in urban areas, mastering the local language, among others, are also part of the required requirements.

According to the CNE, in order to participate, interested parties must deliver a copy of their identity card or voter card, curriculum vitae, qualifications certificate, passport-type photographs and certificate of vaccine against covid-19.

The registration and delivery of documents must be made at the headquarters of the municipal electoral commissions.

In addition, the CNE also opened contests for the recruitment and selection of 80 national trainers and 382 provincial trainers.
