The chairman of the board of directors of Biocare Green, Klause Schveiber – member of the German delegation – said that, when he arrives in Germany, he intends to assume the role of intermediary and create contacts with the two brands. This contact aims to persuade the brands to install lines of cars in Angolan territory, writes Jornal de Angola.
He also took the opportunity to reiterate the Germans' desire to invest five billion euros in the energy, agriculture and construction sectors: "We are interested in collaborating and making investments, as well as sharing 'know-how', to help develop and enhance the Special Economic Zone".
Regarding the visit to the Luanda-Bengo ZEE, which lasted two hours and aimed at verifying the current conditions for foreign investment, the German delegation was "impressed" with the organization of the place.
According to Jornal de Angola, the businessmen met with António Henriques da Silva, chairman of the board of directors of the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento da ZEE, and also visited Galvostahl - a company dedicated to galvanizing steel.
Balbina Silva, Angola's ambassador to Germany, who was also present on the visit, indicated that the visit by the Germans is the result of "the work that has been done by the Government, in the sense of attracting foreign investment, thus allowing for more jobs for the youth".
Cited by Jornal de Angola, the ambassador also mentioned that since she arrived in Germany, she has received "many businessmen with expressions of interest in visiting Angola".
On its trip to Angola, the German delegation also visited the provinces of Cabinda and Namibe.
