TAAG reinforces connection to Portugal as of May 15

TAAG announced this Wednesday that it will strengthen its connection to Portugal, with a second weekly Luanda-Lisbon flight, as of May 15. The flagship airline also revealed that it has decided to strengthen the frequency of its domestic flights. The changes in the number of weekly flights and schedules, which come into force as of Thursday, May 13, relate to routes operated in the provinces of Cabinda, Lunda Sul, Huambo, Namibe and Huila.

The company explains that the measure is part of the gradual return of its flights, aiming to meet passenger demand.

For the Lunda Sul route, TAAG decided to add a new flight, which will be operated on Sunday. Thus, TAAG will now fly twice a week (Wednesdays and Sundays) to Lunda Sul. The departure will be made from Luanda at 7am.

The airline will also add three new flights to the Cabinda route. With departure from Luanda at 7am, the route will now have flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

On the other hand, in the province of Huambo the Thursday flight is suspended, but the route continues to operate on Mondays. Departures are made from Luanda, at 1pm.

As for the province of Namibe, the schedules were readjusted, "now operating from 12:10pm.

For Huíla, an additional flight was created (Wednesdays). Thus, TAAG will now fly to the province three times a week: Wednesdays and Sundays, with departures from Luanda at 12:25pm and Fridays with departures at 5pm.
