At the moment the agricultural project has 120 hectares of land dedicated to corn cultivation, 20 hectares for cassava cultivation, 15 for soybean cultivation, 25 for orchard cultivation, and is preparing 20 hectares to produce safu.

In addition, the farm, which extends to the village of Quibocolo, also has 70 tanks dedicated to cocoa production. Per year, the farm produces more than a thousand tons of casusso. In the locality of Quitexe, the project has 1500 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation.

According to Angop, the farm also operates in the capital of Uige province, focusing on animal husbandry, more specifically on pig breeding activities (having already more than 500 pigs) and goat breeding. Still in the capital of the province, the farm also produces cocoa, reindeer potato, among others.

According to Mawete João Baptista, responsible for the farm, per year, the company performs three corn harvests. In each quarter, it is estimated that more than 50 tons of corn are harvested.

However, in statements to Angop, the responsible explained that the farm does not stop there. The company also aims to invest in activities beyond production.

For this, the responsible made it known that the farm has already acquired machines to transform corn and soybean into animal ration. This feed will be used to feed the farm animals, and what is left over will be sold, he added.

"For human consumption, we have the white and yellow corn that we plan to transform into cornmeal. The experimental production starts in the next three days, so we can see the quality of the manure," he indicated, adding that with the realization of these plans the company will be contributing to agricultural development and food.

He also applauded the President's initiative in continuing to bet on the program of diversification of the national economy, but said it is important that the Government makes a survey of the agronomists that exist in the country, in order to place them in the areas where there is more need to develop the sector.

Mawete João Baptista also revealed that the farm wants to bet on the honey production. For this, the company has already placed 30 hives on the farm, out of a total of 300.

"What is intended is to produce, transform, and consequently proceed with the commercialization of this product," he indicated.

Surrounded by rich soils and plenty of resources, the farm also has conditions to develop not only activities related to farming, but also tourism and hotels. Installed since 2007, the farm also includes lodging services, restaurants, among other leisure activities, employing about 300 people.
