Eight provinces under severe weather warning in the next 24 hours

The National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INAMET) issued this Tuesday a warning of bad weather for the next 24 hours, covering eight provinces, including Luanda, due to the possibility of heavy rains.

:

The warning is valid from 6 pm on Tuesday until 6 pm on Wednesday and puts the provinces of Luanda, Bengo, Zaire, Uíje, Malanje, Cuanza Norte, Cuanza Sul and Benguela on alert.

INAMET prevents the likelihood of heavy rain with thunderstorms in some municipalities in these provinces and recommends precautionary and safety measures in view of the risk of electrical discharges.

Two weeks after the storm that caused 14 deaths in Luanda, the capital was again, on Sunday night and Monday morning, under heavy rain, this time with no record of victims, but with floods in the city and main access roads.
