According to the Press Centre of the Presidency of the Republic of Angola (CIPRA), Bertrand Camus, president of the French Suez Company, a multinational company linked to wastewater treatment and sanitation systems, among other business areas, was the first businessman to be received by João Lourenço.

The head of state also received Thibaud Foucard, president of Rostchschid Bank and concluded the morning's work with an audience to Jean Marc Nasr, Airbus' Executive Vice President of Space Systems.

"Airbus, one of the largest producers of aircraft in the world like the American Boeing, has for some time been running the Angolan satellite to replace Angosat-1, which did not have a successful mission in space," adds CIPRA.

Rádio Nacional de Angola said that João Lourenço will meet this Monday with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, and his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, having booked another bilateral meeting on Tuesday with the Portuguese Prime Minister, António Costa.

The summit on financing African economies, taking place this Tuesday in Paris, will be attended by African and European leaders to discuss issues related to African countries' debt, private investment, infrastructure construction and economic reforms in African countries.
