The new cases were reported in Luanda (240), Huila (13), Cunene (11), Huambo (3), Uige (2), Malanje (1) and Namibe (1) with ages between 1 and 80 years old, being 149 males and 122 females.
In this period three people died (Angolans, aged 52, 59 and 62) and another 373 recovered from the disease.
The laboratories processed 2625 samples by RT-PCR in a cumulative that points to 527,590 tests, with a positivity rate of 5.5 percent.
In total, Angola counts 29,146 cases, of which 639 have died, 25,145 have recovered from the disease, and 3362 are active (including 20 critical and 36 severe).
There are still 277 hospitalized patients and 47 people are in institutional quarantine.
The covid-19 pandemic has caused at least 3,306,037 deaths worldwide, resulting from more than 158.8 million cases of infection, according to an assessment by the French agency AFP.
The disease is transmitted by a new coronavirus detected in late 2019 in Wuhan, a city in central China.
