Pedro Sebastião was speaking at the National Assembly, after the unanimous approval of the extension of the state of emergency, for the third time, for another 15 days, between 11 and 25 of this month, since the first period declared on 27 March.
According to the head of state's aide, the Government is accompanying around seven thousand Angolans on their trip, who have received the support of diplomatic missions.
Regarding the Angolans in Russia, Pedro Sebastião stressed that they are mostly military, who will stay in the barracks when they return.
"Our diplomatic missions have given the necessary support to those who, for this or that reason, cannot yet return to the country. All those Angolans who return under these conditions, first of all, have to be quarantined, in principle 14 days, and then incorporated into their families," he explained.
Angola will maintain the sanitary fence, decreed on 27 March, with the implementation of the state of emergency to prevent and combat covid-19, which has already infected 36 people in the country, of whom two have died and 11 have recovered.
