The cancellation of the Circulation Fee and the additional taxation of cars with longer use will also be discussed.
The Parliament will also discuss the law providing for the Property Tax Code - which suggests a new way of calculating the amount of tax and also the definition of a specific tax caducity period.
These changes are part of the Tax Package, explained Raul Lima, spokesman for the National Assembly, quoted by Jornal de Angola.
With the aim of increasing the tax base and easing the tax burden on taxpayers, Parliament will also take a final vote on the draft law amending the General Tax Code, the Labour Income Tax Code and the Industrial Tax Code.
Raul Lima also made it known that the National Assembly will also approve two proposals linked to the Local Government Package: the Proposed Law on the General Regime of Inter-Autarch Cooperation - which provides that once the local authorities are believed, they can cooperate with each other for the good of the community - and the Proposed Law approving the Statute of Local Elected Officers - which defines the benefits, rights and obligations of the local authorities who will perform this function on a full-time basis.
Also the amendment of the Basic Law on Civil Protection, which aims to give the State the necessary instruments to combat situations that threaten the welfare of the population, will be part of the agenda of the National Assembly.
