National airline continues to invest in training and signs another internship agreement

TAAG continues to invest in the training of students and recent graduates in the country, having signed another cooperation protocol for academic and professional internships. This is the eighth collaboration agreement that the flag carrier has formalized with educational institutions in the country and was signed with the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Technologies and Sciences (ISPTEC).

TAAG and ISPTEC signed, this Monday, "a cooperation protocol for the implementation of the curricular and professional internship program, benefiting students and recent graduates, with internship opportunities and on-the-job training with senior staff of the company", the airline informs in a statement sent to VerAngola.

"This partnership aims to provide students and recent graduates with immersion in the corporate work environment, professional experience and to reinforce the knowledge acquired during their academic training period," says the note.

The agreement, which was signed at ISPTEC's facilities, was signed by the director of TAAG's Legal and Human Capital Department, Neide Teixeira, and by the president of ISPTEC, João Fernando Manuel.

Named 'TakeOff With TAAG', the internship program "is a corporate initiative, aligned with TAAG's strategy of contributing to the development and training of human capital, preparing future professionals for the challenges of the job market".

Overall, the airline's internship program comprised eight educational institutions, namely the Agostinho Neto University (UAN), the Catholic University of Angola (UCAN), the University of Luanda, the Higher Institute of Administration and Finance (ISAF), the Integrated Center for Technological Training (CINFOTEC), the Institute of Telecommunications (ITEL), the Industrial Polytechnic Institute of Luanda (IPIL) and the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Technologies and Sciences (ISPTEC).
