After beating RCA, the U-17 team decides its classification for the World Cup against Egypt

The national under-17 football team beat the Central African Republic (RCA) 6-1 on Monday in the third and final round of Group D of the African Nations Championship (CAN), qualifying for the play-offs to access the world championship. The ‘Palanquinhas’ will return to the scene on Saturday to face Egypt, with whom they will compete for qualification to the world championship.

In Monday's game, held at the El Abdi stadium (Morocco), Angola opened the scoring in the 13th minute, with a goal from Lucas.

Before half-time, the national team scored their second goal, with Densel Liyun increasing the team's lead in the 26th minute.

The match went into half-time with Angola leading 2-0. In the second half, the team continued to score, with Densel Liyun scoring again in the 63rd and 69th minutes.

Jairo Muanha (64 minutes and 90+2 minutes) scored the other two goals for the team.

RCA still managed to 'break through' Angola's defense and score a goal in the 87th minute.

However, after the final whistle, the score gave a large advantage to Angola, who won the match 6-1.

With the result, the team moved on to the play-offs for access to the World Cup, which will take place in November this year in Qatar.

The decision on whether to qualify for the World Cup will be made next Saturday, when Angola will face Egypt.
