Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa was speaking as he left the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon, where he met with the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, on Tuesday.
When asked about relations with Angola, the Portuguese head of state responded: "The president [João Lourenço] will come here in July on a visit to Portugal, at the end of July" and left a word for the Angolan people, "fraternity".
The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, was in Portugal in 2024 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of April 25, 1974.
