Kabuscorp do Palanca reinforces Girabola's fourth place

Kabuscorp do Palanca won this Sunday at Sporting de Cabinda by 4-2 and reinforced their fourth place in the national football championship, with 30 points, in a match on the 16th round of Girabola.

The goals were scored by Benarfa, at seven and 73 minutes, Tumba, at 27, and Teo, at 54, for the outsiders, while Toti, at 60 and 77, scored for the locals.

On Saturday, Desportivo da Huila, led by Portuguese coach Paulo Torres, lost 1-0 at Interclube and fell even further behind in the race for the top spots in the championship. The only goal of the match was scored by Jorginho, in the 72nd minute. With this result, Desportivo da Huila remains in eighth place in Girabola, with 16 points.

For its part, Sagrada Esperança beat Santa Rita de Cássia 3-0, with goals from Polaco, in the 46th and 90th minutes, and Dabanda, in the 58th, and shares the lead with Petro de Luanda, who should have faced 1.º de Agosto on this journey, but saw the game postponed due to participation in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League. They both have 34 points.

In other games, Wiliete de Benguela beat Recreativo do Libolo 2-0, after goals from Cláudio Sozinho, at 16, and Ado Pena, at 90+3, and Clube Recreativo União de Malanje drew against São Salvador do Zaire (1-1), with Balotelli, in the 11th minute, opening the scoring for the hosts, while Zé Bula, in the 22nd minute, restored equality.

Remember that on Friday, the day on which the first game of this 16th round was played, Desportivo da Lunda Sul drew 1-1 against Bravos do Maquis, wasting the opportunity to return to the lead of the championship and counting now the same 34 points as the opponents. The hosts opened the scoring after just two minutes, through Mussá, while Emanuel, at 52, restored equality.

Mussá (Desportivo da Lunda Sul) leads the list of Girabola's scorers, with 10 goals, followed by Benarfa (Kabuscorp do Palanca), who has eight.
