João Lourenço invests new secretaries of State in office

The new Secretaries of State for Justice and for Local Authorities, as well as the new Secretary of the President of the Republic for Social Affairs, took office this Monday, in a ceremony that took place in the Noble Hall of the Presidential Palace.

Thus, according to a note from the Presidency of the Republic, to which VerAngola had access, the President of the Republic conferred office on Osvaldo Benza Amaro, who now holds the position of Secretary of State for Justice, and Fernando da Paixão André Manuel, as Secretary of State for Local Authorities.

At the ceremony, João Lourenço also swore in Marilena da Conceição Mangueira Olavo Gambôa Laureano as secretary of the President of the Republic for Social Affairs.

On the occasion, the head of state took the opportunity to wish "many successes in the exercise of the new functions that, from today onwards, you will assume".

According to the note, the event, which took place in the Noble Hall of the Presidential Palace, was attended by ministers of State, ministers and secretaries of the President of the Republic.

Remember that these new staff were appointed last Wednesday.
