The growth in relation to 2022 "evidences the trend of positive performance in recent years, both in the company's finances and in the market", reads the statement from the regulated markets management company, in which it announces the results and summarizes the Report and Accounts for the 2023 financial year approved, on Monday, at the general meeting.

Business volume in the year under review amounted to 7.1 billion kwanzas, essentially derived from the increase in the volume traded on the secondary market (seven billion kwanzas), with emphasis on Repo operations (asset repurchase agreements), as well as commissions for maintaining the negotiation and custody of private issuers.

Regarding operating costs in the year in question, they totaled 3.4 billion kwanzas, with emphasis on personnel costs and the supply of goods and services, especially support for technological infrastructure.

The report also indicates an increase in net assets of 10 billion kwanzas, 68 percent more than in December 2022, as well as equity worth 7.6 billion kwanzas.

These results translate into "a return on assets (ROA) of 31 percent, a return on net equity (ROE) of 40 percent and a financial autonomy ratio of 78 percent", the document states.

The General Assembly decided to distribute 35 percent of the year's results as dividends to the shareholder, the company also announced.
