Also noteworthy is the price of horse mackerel which, in the Africana Discount chain, saw a reduction of around 35.37 percent.
According to a survey by Jornal de Angola, the cost of goods in the basic food basket, between the penultimate and last week of March, in commercial establishments, suffered a decrease of around 0.22 percent, with the bag of bread (9.03 percent), regular rice (5.39 percent) and horse mackerel (4.91 percent) helped to reduce this.
Basket flour, wheat flour and beef were the products that registered the greatest variation in value, with 5.21 percent, 1.94 percent and 1.70 percent, respectively.
In the period under analysis, reports Jornal de Angola, Angomart, Africana Discount and Deskontão were the commercial establishments that registered a price decrease, with 1.76 percent, 1.38 percent and 1 percent, respectively.
Fresmart (2.07 percent), Intermarket (1.03 percent) and Maxi (0.53 percent) showed the greatest variation.
