The Angolans play the first leg at home, on 15 April, at the 11 de Novembro stadium, in Luanda, and a week later decide, in a second leg match, on South African soil, to continue the competition.
The two teams meet again three years later. In the first leg, the Angolans lost 0-3, in South African territory, and drew 2-2, in Luanda.
