In the words of António Henriques da Silva, the ZEE has been creating a new dynamic in terms of employability and attracting national and foreign investment, contributing to the increase in the number of jobs in the country.

"One of the great impulses in the creation of new jobs has been the ZEE Investor Support Window, created at the end of 2021, allowing the creation of new companies and companies, through the Company's Single Window, the payment of taxes, among other matters (.....)", he said, quoted by Angop.

Thus, since its creation in 2009, the ZEE will have created more than 6300 jobs. Currently, the industrial park has 133 companies linked to the agribusiness, logistics and industrial sectors, among others.

Also present at the ceremony was the Secretary of State for Youth, Fernando Francisco João, who referred to the issue of employability as a factor of great importance for the country's social stability and economic development.

On the occasion, a cooperation agreement was also signed between the ZEE and the Association for the Promotion of Youth Employability (APEJ).

"This act that we witness today is not only relevant, but also timely, considering that we are in the week of celebration of the twenty years of peace in the country", highlighted the president of the Association, Benvindo Bravo André,

The official said that the agreement aims to train youth for the challenges imposed on the country's economic and industrial development, taking into account the need for technical competence and professional training necessary to make national companies more competitive.
