The teaching infrastructure will be built in an area of 4500 square meters. According to Angop, the institute will have two floors, 24 classrooms, laboratories, library, multipurpose room, offices, cafeteria, pharmacy, laundry room, among others.
The works of the enterprise, which counts with a financing from the Spanish government in the amount of seven million 998 thousand and 120 dollars, are expected to be finished in the next 14 months.
The project, which was handed over by the Government of Uige to the company Redondo Garcia S.A, has generated about 30 jobs for young people of that area.
António Mutunda, provincial vice-governor for Technical Services and Infrastructures of Uige, said that this institute will increase the number of students in the education system.
Recently, with the same funding, the works to build two new schools (II Cycle of Secondary Education and the Technical School of Health) have started in Uíge, Angop recalled.
