Casablanca beats Petro de Luanda to the African Champions League

Wydad Casablanca, of Morocco, won this Saturday by 2-0 Petro de Luanda, of Angola, in Casablanca, and qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League football, as winner of group C.


Walid El Karti, in the 15th minute, and Mohammed Ounajem, in the 22nd, were the goal scorers for Wydad Casablanca, who finished in the first position of group C, with 13 points, ahead of Horoya, of Guinea Conakry, who also advances to the rooms'.

Petro de Luanda finished in the fourth and last position of the group, with one point, referring to a 0-0 draw with the South African team of Kaiser Chiefs, third placed, with the same nine points from Horoya (second).
