The Angolan Football Federation (FAF), in a deliberation to which Lusa had access this Thursday, decided to award a 3-0 defeat to Desportivo da Huila, for "no-show".
The confrontation between 'maquizardes' and huilanos was scheduled for March 21, at the Munduduleno stadium, Moxico province. Bravos do Maquis and the refereeing team waited on the pitch, but Desportivo da Huila "did not justify their absence".
The national soccer championship has already played matches of the 15th and last round of the first round, but until the second half of April, several matches will be held behind schedule.
Bravos do Maquis leads the race, with 31 points, followed by Petro de Luanda, with 28, Sagrada Esperança, with 26, and 1.º de Agosto, coached by the Portuguese Paulo Duarte, with 25, but all have fewer games played than the leader.
