The new infections were reported in Luanda (235), Cuanza Norte (12), Huíla (6), Cabinda (4), Huambo (3), Malanje (2) and Uíge (1), with ages ranging from one month to 73 years, being 145 males and 118 females.
Three deaths were also reported, all in Luanda, of Angolans aged 47, 67 and 83 years old, said the Health official, deploring the increasing number of deaths.
Twenty-two people were also recovered in Luanda, Huíla and Lunda Sul, aged between 20 and 88.
In total, Angola totals 26,431 cases, of which 594 deaths, 23,606 recovered and 2231 active, with nine in critical condition and 15 in serious condition.
A total of 2923 samples were analyzed out of a cumulative 449,665, with a positivity rate of 8.9 percent.
At Luanda airport, 36,422 travelers were tested since January 16, of which 89 tested positive.
