Lack of mask gives fine of 15 to 20 thousand kwanzas

The use of a face mask remains mandatory on public roads, markets and in all closed spaces, such as educational establishments, churches, public transport and others.

:

Failure to comply with this measure entitles you to a fine ranging between 15 and 20 thousand kwanzas, according to the new measures put forward by the Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Adão de Almeida.

According to the Presidential Decree approving the new measures, citizens must refrain from being on the public road between 10:00 pm and 5:00 am in the next 30 days, starting from this Thursday, April 29, when the document will take effect.

The country remains under a health fence, with the entry and exit of any citizen from the national territory being prohibited, except in duly justified situations, adds a Government statement to which VerAngola had access.

In the case of the sanitary fence in the province of Luanda, it is only possible to overcome the control with the usual previous test of the covid-19.

The rules on mandatory home quarantine are maintained for all citizens who return to the country, and may be subject to institutional quarantine, if necessary.

International flights continue on a weekly basis. However, warns Adão de Almeida, this is a measure that will be monitored in the coming days, and may be changed if the epidemiological situation so requires.
