According to the data provided, the floods that affected 10,680 people also caused the flooding of 1,945 homes, the collapse of seven others, and 20 houses that were partially destroyed.
The municipalities most affected were Kilamba Kiaxi, with eight deaths, and Talatona, with three deaths.
According to Dionísio da Fonseca, Luanda's Vice Provincial Governor for the Political and Social Area, conditions are already in place to provide food support to affected families and their removal from the flooded houses.
"They are temporarily placed in spaces, and in some cases the residents themselves, neighbors, in solidarity, decided to support their neighbors," he said.
