"President João Lourenço called President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa to congratulate him and the Portuguese Government for the way the covid-19 pandemic has been managed and how the Portuguese people have respected the precautionary and confinement guidelines, expressing their solidarity ", reads in a note posted on the Portuguese Presidency of the Republic website.
