"Everything is fine, I'm well prepared. It was very strong training, always giving my best", said the fighter, speaking to Televisão Pública de Angola (TPA).

Demarte Pena, who is carrying out the weigh-in tests this Thursday, also made it known that he had to "cut a little more weight" and that his participation had some support for this.

"I now have my fight on March 8th. I'm already here in France, I'm here at the hotel resting. Weight day is tomorrow, I have to cut some more weight", he pointed out.

"Everything is going well, I had great support from Bantubet and the Petro de Luanda club, companies in Angola that really helped my preparation. We also sent the letter from the Ministry, we did all our part, we are waiting for the response, possibly even this week before the fight, possibly, they will give something to help with the stay here", he added, quoted by TPA.

In the fight, the Angolan will meet the British Louis Lee Scott, 24, in the ring. It should be noted that, at 34 years old, Demarte Pena currently holds the Ares Fighting Championship bantamweight title, which he intends to defend and revalidate.
