French president arrives in Luanda at night and meets on Friday with João Lourenço

The French President, Emmanuel Macron, arrives this Thursday night in Luanda, for an official visit which highlights a meeting with his counterpart, João Lourenço, and participation in the France-Angola Business Forum.

On the second leg of his African tour, after a visit to Gabon, Macron fulfills his mission in Angola, where he will stay for less than 24 hours, starting with a visit to the Currency Museum to close the France-Angola Business Forum, which begins this Thursday.

At the forum, which will be attended by businessmen from both countries, a partnership between France and Angola in the agri-food sector will be launched.

Emmanuel Macron will then travel to the Presidential Palace, for a meeting alone with President João Lourenço, followed by statements to the press.

The French President will leave Luanda in the middle of the afternoon towards the Republic of Congo.
