The group aims for the first half of the year to reopen 12 Kero stores, including four in the provinces. According to a statement sent to VerAngola, the Kero Mártires and Kero Combatentes supermarkets will reopen during the month of March.

"Kero's strategy is scaled to have a significant impact and drive growth in the sector. Kero has great strengths: it's a strong brand, it has an unparalleled mix of store formats and a loyal customer base. Over time, Kero has cultivated a more humanized brand, transporting the best of traditional commerce to a large surface: proximity. Customer satisfaction is the main objective and that is why we promote improvements every day", says Rui Gonçalves, director- Kero's General

Of the 253 jobs at Kero do Morro Bento, 104 employees were newly hired, reinforcing the store's staff. In the words of Rui Gonçalves, Kero constantly supports the communities where it operates. "One of our goals is to invest in the employability of the population of Morro Bento by creating agile, integrated and diversified teams, thus contributing to the sustainable development of one of the most important neighborhoods in the city of Luanda".

With the reopening of this hypermarket, support is also guaranteed for one more Shelter Center for disadvantaged children, with the employees of each store having an active participation in this mission.

As with other hypermarkets and supermarkets, 80 percent of the products on sale at the Morro Bento store are purchased locally, "which contributes to economic diversification and serves as a stimulus for national producers".

The hypermarket reopened this Friday and will be open from 8 am to 10 pm and has 200 parking spaces. In addition to an expanded offer in terms of textiles and electronics, Kero reinforced the offer at the fishmonger, butcher and bakery counters, as well as a new menu offer in the restaurant, to respond to customers who choose the store for lunch during the week.

Rui Gonçalves also says that Kero is positioned as the hypermarket with the lowest prices on the market: "We will have the campaigns and promotions that Kero customers know so well". The official also adds that Kero do Morro Bento has a wide range of food products, but also non-food products. "To be able to have all the offer that families need in the same space is one of Kero's goals, saving time and money for customers who can thus find an answer to all their needs in one store", concludes the responsible.
