"In the coming weeks we will have the first stores to open. We are currently responsible for around 1700 employees", said the official.

Rui Gonçalves, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), indicated that the valorization of national production is "100 percent" one of the priorities: "It is not just a speech, all the teams that we are training at the purchasing level, we leave it clear that national production is key for us and a determining factor".

"We, from the Anseba group, are producers, but we challenge all producers and we will be the showcase that we want to shorten the link between production and consumption", he added, quoted by RNA.

A note from the Instituto de Gestão de Astivos e Participações do Estado (IGAPE) states that the contract for the assignment of the right to operate and manage the Kero hyper and supermarket network was signed this Tuesday.

According to the note, the "exploration will be carried out for 10 years, without a purchase option, which includes 12 stores, with an average of six thousand square meters of sales area, of which eight are located in the province of Luanda and four in the remaining provinces, that is, Benguela, Huila and Huambo".

The contract signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, and was chaired by Ottoniel dos Santos, Secretary of State for Finance and the Treasury.
