According to Franco Mufinda, Secretary of State for Public Health, new infections were reported in the provinces of Luanda (11) and Cabinda (1).
The 12 new cases concern patients aged between six months and 56 years, 11 of whom are male and one female, the official said.
In the same period, 35 recoveries were recorded, of which 30 were in Luanda, four in Zaire and one in Cabinda.
The labs processed 927 samples by RT-PCR, with a daily positivity rate of 1.1 percent.
With the most recent balance, the country has a total of 99,027 cases, of which 114 are active, 1,900 have died and 97,013 have recovered.
